Push Press + Push Jerk
Work up to a heavy single
**Did about 7 sets working up to 105 lbs

Box Squats 3 x 10
**Done with a 25 lb kettlebell focusing on form

Every 3 minutes x 5
50 double unders
10 hang power cleans (35lbs)
10 pull ups
10 box jumps
**Finished each round at about 2:00, with 1 minute rest

After watching everyone compete yesterday during Fall Brawl at Raw, I decided I wanted to get a little workout in before work. I was exhausted after helping to judge all day in the cold and finally got a solid amount of sleep. When I saw my PT on Thursday, he told me to scale back on everything if I was still sore after working out or the day after. So, I did today and am still feeling pretty good. Not sore immediately after but we’ll see as the day goes on.

A was a little bummed about not being able to compete at Fall Brawl, but I think I honestly had more fun judging than competing last year. Mentally I’ve accepted that I may never compete again…and I’m ok with that. So watching what these other amazing athletes can do was inspiring, but it didn’t give me that full urge to get back in there or even that sadness that I was wasn’t competing at all. Things have shifted around here and I’m just trying to be the best Nikki that I can be as well as heal this back up so it can support me for the rest of my life.
