Worked up to 205 lbs, felt really good.

Today felt really good for me, in comparison to yesterday. My power cleans were ok, but I don’t feel the most comfortable with touch and go power cleans. The front squats felt really easy, especially at 205. I probably could have gotten another set in at 210-215, but was short on time. Considering I only did 185 x 3 yesterday and those felt heavy, I’ll take it.

I loved the WOD because I love any type of barbell movement. I could have probably gone a bit faster on this as well.

I woke up today almost 3 pounds heavier than two days ago when I checked in. I’m sharing this information to let all of you who read this know that I also deal with everyday weight fluctuations. Just because I gained weight today, does not mean I freaked out and gave up on the plan.

I hit my new macros perfectly yesterday, and will do the same today. A few things contributing to this; I had my refeed only two days ago, I was given 10 more grams of carbs per day, and I’m going to start my cycle in like a day or two. All of this will cause anyone to gain weight.

So rather than freak out about the weight gain, I’m going to stick to my prescribed macros and workout plan and just keep trucking on. I trust this process completely and I know that the weight will come off.

Also to note; the appearance of my body has not changed either. I still have abs every morning. Keep with the program and just treat the scale as another measurement!
