Just the basics.

That One Time

So I actually did it. I signed up for my first ever Crossfit Competition.

May 3 I will be traveling with three people from my box to Morgantown, WV. Luckily I won’t be going this alone, as it is a team competition and I will be competing with another female from my box.

We are currently signed up for the Rx weight which is around 95 pounds for most movements and 155 pound deadlifts. Pull ups and toes to bar are also part of the Rx.

I am excited but nervous at the same time. It’s the first year for the competition at this box,  so I don’t think it will be super intimidating, and a great first introduction to Crossfit competition.

So over the next month or so,  I want to improve my pull ups and my toes to bar as those seem like my current weaknesses.  I can do the weights without a problem,  but need to get my upper body on board!
