Nothing too exciting to report over the past few days. I’ve been working, which has left little time for anything else.
I’m itching to get back to Crossfit and have already signed up for five classes next week. Today is Hero WOD Sunday and I am pretty bummed I can’t make it there today.
Tonight however we are having out monthly-ish friends family dinner. We just call it family dinner, but our friends Kevin and Mandy are having us all over. I think the menu is zucchini noodles and meatballs. They try to follow Paleo for the most part because it seems to make Mandy feel better without the gluten, so they are always trying new recipes. I am excited though to try zucchini noodles. I am thinking about purchasing a spiralizer myself to make squash and zucchini spaghetti!
Other than that, I’ve just been saving lives…kinda. As a PA I don’t see all of true emergencies like heart attacks and strokes but I do occasionally get to see the sick people; appendicitis, abscesses, diverticulitis, pulmonary embolisms, etc. Sometimes I don’t feel like I make that much of a difference seeing lacerations and broken bones but some days I do. Yesterday was one of those days.
Anyways, I hope you all have a great Sunday. Rest and enjoy time with those you love…including friends. 🙂
