Life has been busy recently with work (what a surprise!) I finally have two days off and I am STOKED! Here are some current events from my life…
This is our giant coffee table and these simple letters were given to me by my sister two years ago. I think they’re perfect. I don’t know that they’ll stay there forever but we’ll see. Also, we’re hoping to buy a bigger TV soon!
We bought that so if we have friends over we can all play games around it and relax. I love our stuff! It so comfy and big!
Boo yah. Two weekends ago I attempted 20 miles and only got to 15. It was rough. This weekend I ran by myself with music and pushed out those 20 miles and while it wasn’t the best run ever, it was definitely a confidence booster. It was boring in the later miles but I blame myself because I didn’t have good music to listen to.
I made chicken stir fry and please let me tell you how easy this was to make.
I used the following:
2 handfulls (about 8 ounces) of FROZEN grilled chicken strips (found in the freezer section)
1/2 bag of frozen stir-fry veggies
1/2 bag of other frozen mixed veggies (think green and red peppers as well as onions)
2 bags of Uncle Ben’s white rice
2-4 tablespoons of stir fry sauce
Basically I heated the chicken up in vegetable oil, then added the frozen veggies and boiled the rice in the bag. I mixed all of the above together and added the stir fry sauce and ta-da!!!
It was delicious and made about 3-4 servings although Mike scarfed the whole thing down!

Anywhoo, those are my current events. Today we both have the day off and are FINALLY going to see The Hunger Games with lunch at Red Robin before-hand. I’m sooooo excited! I already got my run in too!
